Bronx, NY - The Manhattan Invitational brings teams from 21 different states and the District of Columbia. Over 10,000 runners will compete in the biggest single day meet in the USA in Van Cortlandt Park. The meet, hosted by Manhattan University, is in its 53rd year. The meet also plays host to the prestigious Eastern States Championship. CBA has won 3 Eastern States Titles in a row and 20 overall. Last year, the boys set the NJ course record, besting the team from 2023. CBA's 5 man average, NJ best time of 12:41 is 2nd best in course history, behind the 2014 Fayetteville-Manlius time of 12:32.

The Manhattan Invitational has named this year's Championship Trophy after CBA runner, Alex Kemp '24. Alex passed away in a tragic skiing accident January of this year. Alex was part of the 2022 and 2023 team championships. In the 2024 Eastern States, Alex ran his best race in a driving, cold rain and was CBA's #2 on that day as the boys set the NJ record. Alex went on to win a state title in the 3200 indoors before joining Williams College. At Williams, Alex was the best freshmen in the NCAA D3 Nationals. The boys are excited to take a shot at this trophy.
