The Bronx, NY - Michael Romero '27 and Justin Ventimiglia '28 won their races at the Manhattan Invite. Romero won the JV 'C' race to win the first race of his career. His effort led CBA to 4 of the top 6 places in the race. CBA only ran 4 athletes so they could not complete a team score. Maguire Hartnett '27, Nick Marx '27 and Lucas Scrivanic '27 were all in the top 6. It was the last race after a long, emotional day at Van Cortlandt Park. The boys rose to the occasion and Romero won big!

Justin Ventimiglia '28 also won the Sophomore 'A' race in a stellar time of 13:35. He led wire to wire with several teammates in tow. Max Kemp '28 also broke 14 for 4th in the race.

The freshmen absolutely wrecked the school record 5 man average by 20 seconds. The team of Dominic Moscatello, Gideon Rivera, Chase VanDerHoof, Trey Summers and Ryan Frazee averaged 8:20.7 to best last year's team. Dominic ran under the record set by Ryan Sykes of Horace Greeley 2 years ago. He finished second in the race and will have to settle for a monster CBA record and #2 All Time on the Course. Gideon and Chase ran side by side in 8:20. Summers had a great come back race after some illness and Frazee ran his best race of the year! We had 11 runners under 9:20 and 7 under 9:00. The freshmen rewrote the All Time List!
