Throwers place in ALL 3 events at MOC

Franklin Twp., NJ - Robert Manse III '22 and Tyler Mayerhoff '22 have led the CBA Colts to victory over and over again. Saturday's NJSIAA Meet of Champions marked their last throws in CBA uniforms. Manse warmed the crew up with a 56'9.25 toss in the shot. That was good for 6th place. Tyler Mayerhoff finished off the day with a school record throw in the discus. His throw of 186'4" was for for 5th place. You can see his throw here. Jack Ryan '22 placed 4th in the javelin with a 171'1". His rise this season was amazing.
The distance crew wrapped up a stellar week at the Meet of Champions. The 4 x 800 team of Sean Lawson '23, Zach Shroba '23, Lucas Ward '23 and John Holovach '22 ran an exceptional race to place 7th. The wind was terrible on the back stretch, but the boys time of 8:15 won them medals. Junior Nick Sullivan also earned a place. His 4:21 in the 1600 was good for 4th place.
