NJ Meet of Champs on Tap

Holmdel, NJ - The XC team is set to race the 50th NJSIAA Meet of Champions this Saturday at 11:00 am. The meet began in 1972 with an individual championship. The NJSIAA added a team championship in 1973. CBA has won 24 Meet of Champions titles in the meet's history.

CBA's first MOC victory came in 1979. In that race, CBA scored 57 points to beat Bernards with 116. That team of Marc Librizzi '80, John McCabe '81, Kevin Brandon '80, Greg Karpick '80, and Steve Apostolactus '80 averaged 16:56. The 2022 team is coming off one the best performances in state meet history. The 16:06 average was 3rd best in meet history and Joe Barrett's time of 15:43 was a sophomore record for CBA and the third fastest in course history. Read all about the race here.
