Middletown, NJ - The Colts had double duty this weekend with a small part of the team competing at Penn and the majority at the Lion Invite. Read about our trip to Penn here. The Lion Invite helped get us ready for the championship season.

Kam Coleman '23 had a stellar day on the track and in the jumps pit. His triple jump of 44'8" bettered his own outdoor school record by over a foot and bettered his all conditions school record by 3 inches. Kam also ran two PBs in the 110H to get the win (15.41 in trials and 15.27 in the finals).

Nick Williams '24 took a big step with an all conditions PB of 49'0" in the shot put. That toss ranks him as #6 in CBA history for sophomores. Also in the throws, Anthony Price '23 placed in the discus with a 143'11". It was his second effort in the 140s in the last two meets.

Freshmen Alex Mastroly and Joe Barrett finished 3-4 in the 1600 to run 4:29.77 and 4:30.04 respectively. They move to 5th and 6th in CBA history for freshmen. Only Drake Anzano '17, Blaise Ferro '16, Nick Trigani '16 and Mike McClemens '14 have run faster as freshmen. Those 4 graduates have 8 individual Meet of Champions Titles between them.

Aidan Cale '24 had a great day in the 400IH with a PB of 62.03 and Aidan Kane '23 ran a solid PB of 53.48 in the 400.

In the frosh races, Ryan Schmitt led the way with a 2nd place PB in the 1600 in 4:48. Ethan Fianko placed 5th in the 400 at 57.03. The freshmen 4 x 400 team of Derek Lynch, Fianko, Jakob Pakrul and Nathaniel Huzar finished 3rd in 3:57.94.
