Boys Win 37th Shore Conference Title

Lakewood, NJ - The boys varsity team won the 37th Shore Conference Title in school history. It is the 19th Shore Conference Championship in a row for CBA. The JV and a freshmen also took wins on the day.

Joe Barrett '25 led the boys with his first varsity win and a sub 15:00 race. Nick Sullivan '23, Jack Falkowski '24, Alex Kemp '24 and Zach Shroba '23 rounded out our top 5. The boys scored 23 points and would have beaten the field. The team average of 15:26.2 outdistanced second place Southern with their 15:56. Barrett's time of 14:59.77 is the second best sophomore time in course history. Only Blaise Ferro '16 is faster, though the course has been lengthened a bit since then.

The JV team won with a perfect score and a 16:12 average. That time places them 3rd in the varsity race in front of 3 state ranked teams. Conor Clifford '24, Matt Mastroly '23 and Alex Mastroly '25 worked together throughout the race. A little before 2 miles, Clifford took control and won with a time of 15:46. Matt ran a great 15:58 and Alex 16:12. Kevin Allen '23 and Will DeMarco '24 rounded out our top 5.

Wyatt Falkowski '26, Sean Galvin '26, Luke Hnatt '26, Will Sakoutis '26 and Ryan Collins '26 took home a huge victory in the freshmen race. They beat Manalapan 28 to 38. The teams are two best in the northeast. Falkowski fought hard for 2nd place with Galvin and Hnatt. The heroes of the day were Sakoutis and Collins. Both closed very hard to seal the win.
