Rain Doesn't Stop Colt 3200 Crew
Nick Sullivan '22 led the boys in 9:28 on a cold, rainy night.
Holmdel, NJ - Heavy rain came in hard at the annual Holmdel Twilight 3200s. The steady, cold rain made warm up and racing difficult but the boys raced hard. Led by Nick Sullivan '23, The Colts had 9 underclassmen under 10:00 for 3200, including 2 freshmen in Joe Barrett and Ryan Schmitt. The team averaged 9:38 for 5 men.
Lucas Ward '23 and Alex Kemp '24 were heat winners, both races went through 1600 in a little under 5:00. Both young men closed hard.
A third freshman, Alex Mastroly, was tripped with 425m left to go in the race. He was on pace to run well under 10:00 before falling.
