Double Duty: Penn Relays and Lion Invite Bound
Philadelphia - The boys have qualified in several events for the prestigious Penn Relays. Discus thrower Tyler Mayerhoff '22 will be throwing in the Championship of America Discus on Friday. The team of Nick Sullivan '23, Conor Clifford '24, Matthew Herman '23 and Sean Lawson '23 will be running in the qualifying heats for the 4 x 800 on Friday. The 4 x 100 team of Declan Picadio '23, Jake Zapala '23, Brian Askin '23, Tyler Straley '23 will be running the 4 x 100 on Friday as well. On Saturday, the 4 x 400 team of Ben Skrincosky, Matt Herman '23, Joe Silvestri '22 and Aidan MacManus '23 will racing in the qualifying heats.
The Penn Relays has been a highlight of the program over the last 50 years with majors wins coming in the DMR in 1985, 1988, and 2011. Jim Lambert of Nj.milesplit (Flosports) ranked the 1988 win as one of New Jersey best moments at Penn.

Penn Relays Information
